RMU Adds Women's Flag For 2027-28 Season

The RMU Colonials announced today that they'll be adding women's flag football. This is the 5th NEC conference member or football member toadd the NCAA emerging sport. All other NEC schools compete in the ECAC. Details are forthcoming on RMU's plans for competition.

Under new AD Ron Moses, the Colonials will begin a national search for a head coach. Women's Flag is booming in popularity in Western Pennsylvania, and we're fully committed to covering the sport to the best of our ability- as well as making sure the Lambert Trophy is present at select games to celebrate the heritage of Eastern football and connecting it to this new chapter.

We'll have updates as they come.
