PREMIUM: Chicago State Football Schedule 2026: What We Know and What We Think We Know

Chicago State has announced via press release that it will indeed play football in 2026, operating as an independent. This was not a certainty. There was always a real possibility that the rollout could be pushed back to 2027, especially given what has felt like slow progress at times.

As of now, Chicago State still has just one coach: head coach Bobby Rome II. There is no publicly known schedule and, technically speaking, no roster, although the program has landed a pair of commitments in the past week. That said, we do have some new information along with some educated guesses based on what we know.
